One of my best friends from here in Scranton is studying abroad in Copenhagen. I've met some of the people she lives with over there a few times over FaceTime, but other than that I really don't know any of the girls she lives with at all. This weekend, my friend's roommate over there sent me a Facebook message regarding my Spotify playlist, Yams:
I'm sure you get a lot of fan mail, so I don't expect a response. But I just needed to let you know what a huge fan of Yams I am, it's gotten me through some pretty tough times and been the soundtrack to some of the best times of my life. The range within the playlist and the dichotomy between songs like "I wanna dance with somebody" and "we dem boys" is artful and inspiring. I look forward to the release of your next Spotify Playlist. Yours Truly, #1 Fan

P.S. I tried my best to one-up her message when I replied. Thesaurus.com must have seen a huge spike in site traffic while I was writing this:
Despite the tumultuous schedule that comes with being a Spotify playlist connoisseur, I try to take some time every day to answer messages from fans. I appreciate your kind words the playlist that I've poured my soul into. I'll continue to work hard to keep my multitude of fans happy with the song selections. I've tried to work in songs of all varieties in order to please everyone.
I must add, your vocabulary is something to be reckoned with! It's not often you hear someone drop "dichotomous," and it's refreshing to hear words such as that. I'll be sure to inform you ahead of time when I release another Spotify project.
Until then, continue to enjoy Yams!
